First closing of the year is in the books 🎉
My clients wanted to get a new home, within their budget, and have the closing aligned with the end of their lease. That was proving to be extremely difficult in the competitive markets we were shopping in. So, we negotiated a deal to have their lease broken and paid for, as well as the two months rent that would be due, and got them into the perfect home for them. 2025 was probably the hardest year of my life. Every transaction felt like hell to close (with the exception of a few) and it was honestly the first time I’ve ever thought “can I keep doing this?”

But it wasn’t just Real Estate. I had a major health complication that required surgery, and I’m still recovering from that now.

My focus for this year is simple… LESS IS MORE.
- Less problems
- Less distractions
- Less doubt
- More success
- More focus
- More confidence

Huge congratulations to our newest home owners! They will be closing just after the holidays, but will have plenty of time to celebrate regardless. This one was a little tricky, and here’s why;
The buyers were renting, and their lease is set to expire in April. So, we had a choice to make; do we risk waiting closer to their lease expiration and competing in the spring market? Or, do we find a solution and make our move now? I was able to negotiate concessions for the buyers, and it will cover the cost to break their lease AND cover the two months of rent they would have had to pay. Looking to move into a new home?
