Good news for would-be home buyers: Mortgage rates in the U.S. have dropped to their lowest level ever. The 30-year fixed rate dropped to 3.29 percent; the 15-year rate fell to 2.79 percent.

First Front Door Opening March 16th

Registration for First Front Door opens on March 16th. This is a grant that offers up to $5,000 to be used toward down payment and/or closing costs.

•Must be a first time homebuyer identified as not having owned a home within the past 3 years or displaced from a marital home as a result of a divorce.
•Must meet household maximum income limitations. Note that we have to count all income regardless of if on the loan or not.
•Must complete 4 hrs of counseling.
•Primary residence only.
•Single family residence only.
•Can get full seller assist.
•Must purchase and close within 6 months of registration
•Grant is a 3 to 1 match of borrower funds. We give $3 for every $1 from buyer up to $5,000.
