Today, I'm asking everyone who reads this post to take a moment and remember that Memorial Day is about so much more than scoring good deals on sales, getting a long weekend off from work, boating, backyard BBQs, or relaxing at the beach.

This photo, taken at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, is a powerful reminder of the true meaning behind today--sacrifice, loss, valor, and remembrance.

Memorial Day is a day to pause and reflect on the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom, and to honor the families who carry that sacrifice with them every single day.

Today, I'm especially grateful to those near and dear to me who chose to serve: my dad, Bob; my brothers, Bob and Brian; my father-in-law, Lou; my Uncle Pat; my brother-in-law, Shel and my sister-in-law's dad, Tom. Although none of them were lost in battle, all of them stood as brothers in arms with some who were. They served this country with courage and integrity.

May we never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice, soldiers known and unknown, and may we carry their memory with us no matter where we are or how we spend this Memorial Day.

Congratulations to my buyer, Nick, on the purchase of his first home.

It’s the best feeling in the world to work with friends and family, especially when Michaelina and I are entrusted to help them land their first home. We loved the whole experience, from beginning to end: the Open House tours, the Saturday morning showings, storytime at Starbucks, reviewing comps and talking strategy while navigating the many exciting, nuanced, hilarious and challenging aspects of the home buying journey.

Nick did a lot of his own due diligence and research and had a voracious appetite for learning how the whole home buying process works. He asked questions, listened, absorbed and applied everything we shared with him. It was a wonderful experience working with him and his better half, Himani.

15 5th Street in Barnegat wasn’t even on the market 24 hours before going under contract with a very aggressive over-ask offer!

There are many moving parts to selling a home, and I consider it a gift and a privilege to be entrusted by my clients to help them navigate this sometimes overwhelmingly fast, furious, and mind-boggling process.

Congratulations to my sellers, and congratulations to buyer’s agent, Patrick Meehan, and his clients, who are going to make wonderful memories in their new home!

I want to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a joyful and meaningful Easter filled with peace, happiness and time spent with those who matter most to you. I'm also incredibly grateful for your continued trust in me. What an honor and a pleasure it’s been to help my wonderful client Karen, and her family, sell their beautiful home at 119 Bengal Blvd in Barnegat.

310 Winding Oak in Manahawkin is officially SOLD! So happy and proud of my lifelong friends Jen and Paul on their home sale yesterday!

Now we get to live happily as neighbors in our little egg nests. I can’t wait to get tacos together, hit the Wawa for some smokes and cokes, go fishing, sunbathe and watch Da Burds.

Here’s to living the good life together!

Congratulations to my lifelong friends, Jen and Paul, for closing on their latest and greatest home! This is the fourth real estate deal we’ve done together and we laugh now saying, “We’re getting pretty good at this.”

Jen and I grew up together in Delran, and so it seems we’re just meant to be neighbors! I can’t wait to sit on each other’s porches, watch fireworks together during summer cookouts, ride bikes to one another’s houses and venture out on the boats, kayaks and paddle boards together! Best wishes as you settle in and make your newest house a home.
