“Us — Through It All”
We’ve built our world on late-night talks,
On dreams that dared to walk their walk.
Through slammed doors and whispered peace,
Through love that bends but won’t release.
You and I — two sparks, one flame,
No storm could ever douse our name.
We’ve lost and won, we’ve fought and healed,
Each scar a truth our hearts revealed.
There were nights we almost broke apart,
But God kept stitching heart to heart.
Each tear became a sacred vow,
To love not later — but right now.
From laughter loud to silence deep,
From restless grind to gentle sleep,
We’ve learned that marriage isn’t ease,
It’s work and faith and memories.
We’ve weathered loss, we’ve tasted grace,
We’ve grown through every changing phase.
And every time the world said “quit,”
We rose again — together — lit.
Christine, my partner, love, my fight,
My calm in storm, my fierce daylight.
Through every trial, dream, and test —
You’ve been my reason, my wild, my best.
So here’s to us — the highs, the falls,
The makeup laughs, the midnight calls.
To lessons learned, to love refined —
To the woman who still blows my mind.
Happy Birthday, my heart, my friend,
My story’s start, its middle, end.
Through all we’ve faced, through all we’ll do —
There’s no “me” without “us” — just you.
