Talk about a reason to celebrate! Today, we're celebrating two special milestones for Jackson Duncan: his 15-year anniversary with Odin Properties and his birthday!🎉🎂

Jackson began his career with Odin in leasing, helping manage and develop new acquisitions. Over the past 15 years, he has grown into an exceptional leader and now oversees our Philadelphia workforce housing portfolio, helping provide quality affordable housing opportunities throughout the city.

Outside of work, Jackson is deeply committed to making a difference in his community. He founded Focused Athletics, a nonprofit organization that supports Philadelphia student-athletes, and continues to dedicate his time to helping young people succeed. He's also a devoted husband, proud father to his 4-month-old daughter June, and proud parent to two accomplished children: Zymir Cobbs-Duncan, a special education teacher and football coach at Simon Gratz High School, and Aniyah Walker, a Property Manager within Odin's Affordable Housing portfolio.

Jackson's leadership, dedication, and passion for helping others have made a lasting impact on Odin, our residents, and the communities we serve. We're incredibly grateful for everything he brings to our team.

Today we’re celebrating Risa Brana on her 5-year milestone with Odin Properties! As our Executive Assistant, Risa keeps the moving parts of our corporate office running seamlessly with professionalism, organization, and grace. Outside the office, she’s a devoted mom who loves spending time with her family and exploring new destinations through travel.

We’re so grateful for the energy, dedication, and positivity she brings to the team every day. Congratulations, Risa! Thank you for an amazing 5 years!

Our CEO, Philip Balderston, recently spoke with The Press of Atlantic City alongside other industry leaders about the future of development and the momentum happening throughout the city. As Phil put it: “We’re excited about Atlantic City, and we’re going to plant our flag here.”

We were proud to sponsor the Frankford CDC 3rd Annual Community Heroes Breakfast and celebrate the individuals and organizations making a meaningful impact throughout the Frankford community.

The event brought together local leaders, partners, and community members for an inspiring morning focused on neighborhood investment, collaboration, and progress. We’re also excited for the future of the Frankford TOD project, which is expected to bring affordable housing, healthcare access, and new commercial space to the neighborhood.

A special thank you to our CEO, Philip Balderston, who serves as Vice President of the Frankford CDC Board and continues to support initiatives that strengthen and invest in the communities we serve.

We’re excited to be part of a project that will transform a long-vacant North Philadelphia factory into 56 affordable senior apartments for the community.

In partnership with Deliverance Evangelistic Church and its community development corporation, this redevelopment is about more than housing. It’s about creating meaningful impact, bringing new life to a historic property, and investing in the future of the neighborhood.

Our CEO, Philip Balderston, recently spoke with The Philadelphia Inquirer about the growing need for affordable housing options for Philadelphia’s aging population and the important role thoughtful redevelopment can play in strengthening communities.

We’re proud to be part of projects like this that preserve history, revitalize communities, and create housing people truly need.

The latest project is expected to cost $30 million with construction expected to begin in 2028.

We’re excited to welcome Jillian Cowden to the Odin team as our new Director of Marketing!
Jillian brings a strong background in multifamily marketing, combining strategic thinking, creativity, and a data-driven approach. She’s passionate about connecting people to places they’re proud to call home.

Outside of work, she enjoys going on runs, spending time outdoors, and heading down the shore with her family in the summer. You’ll also find her trying new restaurants, walking around Manayunk with her husband, and being a proud cat mom to Margo. 🐾

We’re thrilled to have her on board and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make across the portfolio.
