A question I get asked the most is “How’s the Market?” The real answer is “it depends.” It depends on when you plan to make a move, where you’re moving to, what property type you’re most interested in (the condo market is its own thing), and what your budget is.
Understanding these things about your plan to move can help answer the question about the market...because the market is most relevant in how it pertains to YOU.
Shorter answer: low inventory (less homes for sale than in 2019), continued buyer demand (growing number of mortgage applications), and a rate environment that Nixon would love but will remain for some time.

We love the ‘ber months. The spring market gets a lot of the headlines, but year after year almost 30% of sales take place in the fall market.

i’m sure your dad is awesome. You still need to hire a professional home inspector… and trust his area of expertise.
And the rules get bent alllllll the time, but take a look at your sales contract: only named parties to the transaction and their hired inspectors can be present at the subject property. It’s the no-parents clause.
