Hello friends! My name is Anam Owili-Eger (he/him), REALTOR® with Elfant Wissahickon REALTORS, based in Philadelphia. I bring over two decades' worth of knowledge and professional relationships cultivated from my time in the creative sector and financial service industries to EWR. I consider myself a tenacious researcher, dedicated problem solver, and a lifelong learner with what feels like an endless desire for knowledge.
I enjoy listening to the hopes, dreams, and concerns of my clients. It is important to me to foster relationships where open communication, compassion, and clarity thrive because as part of a wondrous, interconnected human community, it enriches us all. I find great fulfillment in keeping my clients as informed and educated as possible.
I love Philadelphia and am committed to serving the people throughout the area to the best of my ability. I have deep roots in the areas now considered Northwest Philadelphia and Lower Montgomery County. One of my ancestors was Humphrey Morrey, the first mayor of Philadelphia, appointed by William Penn in 1691. Portraits of more recent ancestors, Hiram Charles Montier and Elizabeth Brown Montier, are on display in the Philadelphia Museum of Art, both painted in 1841 by Franklin R. Street.
I graduated from Central High School, the second-oldest continuously public high school in the country, with a Bachelor of Arts (the only HS in the country allowed to confer degrees) and later graduated from Swarthmore College with a BA in sociology and anthropology.
I am strongly committed to social justice and am grateful to serve on the Board of Trustees for Unitarian Universalists of Mount Airy. Also a composer and pianist, I enjoy singing and performing throughout the area in my spare time. I love biking and hiking in the Wissahickon Valley, having spent much of my childhood doing so. I also love any and every Philadelphia sports team. GO BIRDS!
I believe that anything we do in service of another or to help someone is customer service, and I am committed to providing the highest and best. I would be honored to provide you my expertise and service.
