🎉🏠 How it started vs now. Top pic was May 2, 2014. Bottom pic from yesterday. Things may change but our excitement in both stayed the same. So many great memories at that house and I thought I'd/we'd have trouble letting go but we really didn't. Which just goes to show when you're ready, you're ready.

The couple moving in seem very sweet so I am glad our amazing old neighbors will have great people moving in. Lucky for us they are still neighbors because we're still in the neighborhood.

I am so proud to have been the agent to sell our home and now that I know what I know now (vs when I was not an agent in 2014), to be honest, there is no one I would trust more than myself to be our agent. I'm glad I can help those I care about in real estate and know they are in good hands with me. I'm not the type of agent that boasts about being a "top producer" or hot shot because I'm not but I am really good at what I do. So much of that is because of the education and mentorship I sought out and received AFTER I became licensed. So thank you to every single person who has been a part of my education, especially my broker. It's not about being the agent in the magazine or a real estate "rock star" 🤢, it's about helping people with experienced and smart advice, good guidance, and clean, clear, honest, win-win transitions.

Congratulations Amy and Matt who closed on their beautiful home last week! This was such an honor for me as Amy is a personal training client of mine and I can't even put into words knowing she trusts me to guide her through her workouts AND through her home purchase. While I always keep in touch with my real estate clients and consider you a friend for life, it's going to be awesome to be able to regularly hear about them making their house a home during our workouts!

Consider me your real estate Santa! Stop here to craft your plan for buying a home in 2023 🤶🏼

So happily ever after in your new home didn't happen in time for the holidays? 😭

Maybe you dreamed about heading to the local Christmas market or tree farm and spending Christmas in your new home surrounded by your favorite seasonal scents and a warm fire going in the fireplace, Michael Buble´ playing softly in the background...

It sounds dreamy BUT don't let it get you down! Even though you didn't make it into a new home in time for THIS holiday season, doesn't mean you can't get on track and use it as motivation for locking in your new home for NEXT holiday season!

So when should you start the process? Let me get my calendar and lay this out!

Let's say your goal is to be in a new home by May of 2023...

Once you find your new home, we'll need about 45-60 days from contract to closing day so working backwards, that puts us around beginning of March.

The next thing to think about is how long it's going to take you to find a house.

That means it's time for us to talk because you may need to get that home search started right now! The market & price range you're looking in will help determine when you should start looking.

The first thing I'd recommend doing is scheduling a buyer consultation (we can do it easily over Zoom or over peppermint mochas - you pick). From there, I can get you set up on a home search and connected with a lender to get your pre-approval going!

If you're reading this thinking - "Yes she is talking to ME!" then what are you waiting for? And as a reminder, I serve all across the Philly area from the city to the burbs to NJ!

🎉🏠 Congratulations to my clients Rachel and Mark on the sale of their home Monday! Rachel and Mark were referred to me by my friend Beth Dyson 😊. We started the process while they were traveling abroad and had meetings via zoom with correspondence via email and text (technology is amazing!). We were able to come to an agreement with their tenants to purchase their home but were prepped to take it to market if that didn't happen. These 2 were an absolute joy to work with and I learned soooo much in the process including how to get a deed package signed in Japan! (Which we also didn't have to do but I'm kind of glad we didn't because then we might not have met in person!). Congrats Rachel and Mark, I'm so excited for your future endeavors and all the places they will take you!
