You're only as good as your last deal.

That's what my convention manager told me years ago. You run one flawless event and think you've got it figured out. Then the next one could be harder, different client, tougher demands. And you're back to square one if you got comfortable.

Same thing applies in Phoenix real estate. Close one smooth transaction and think you can coast on the next contract negotiation. Wrong move.

Every deal has different moving parts. Different personalities. Different pressure points. The process that worked perfectly in Arcadia might need adjustments in Biltmore.

Stay sharp. Stay systems-focused. Complacency kills precision.

Ready to work with someone who treats every contract like it matters? Let's talk.

Music never consumed me the way it did my friends.

Back in the day, they would literally spend entire days at the record store, flipping through albums. I’d be standing there like, "Are you out of your mind? Are we seriously doing this all day?" It drove me absolutely nuts.

While they were searching for records, I focused my sights on other things. I wanted to get moving. Always have.

What's your focus?

I’m putting my name out there as much as possible to show you I’m the guy who truly knows this area. I just launched a new advertising campaign at Safeway, including two kiosks at the Glendale location. Come on out and keep an eye out for my 30-second ad!

I’m all-in on building local recognition because when you're buying or selling in Phoenix, you want someone who actually knows the area. Not just the listings, but the rhythm of each neighborhood. Take a chance, you know, call my references. I'd love for you guys to work with me.

My clients fell in love with a house, then changed their minds after seeing five more homes. We had to kill the deal. The seller wasn't happy, but being honest is the only way I work. Sometimes the right move is walking away before you're locked in. Better to disappoint a seller than buy the wrong house in Phoenix.

Moving from corporate conglomerates to Phoenix real estate means adjusting the scale, but never the standards. The mindset shift isn't about the numbers; it's about taking the exact same precision required for multi-million dollar corporate deals and applying it to your contract, your timeline, and your neighborhood.

The discipline transfers, even when the extra zeros don't.

Ready to work with someone who sweats the details regardless of deal size?

After 15 years in corporate beauty contracts, I learned one thing: "This is it" never means this is it.

L'Oreal executives would say final approval, then walk the factory floor and change everything. Same thing happens when Phoenix buyers see their house in person. The photos looked perfect, the virtual tour was flawless, but standing in that kitchen? Different story.

Smart buyers build flexibility into their timeline and contract terms. Because the moment you think you're done, you're probably just getting started.

Ready for a process that expects the pivot?

Marketing isn't optional for Phoenix agents anymore.

Too many homes, too many agents, you've got to separate yourself somehow. The basics aren't enough when every listing looks the same and every agent promises the same thing. Your process, your local knowledge, your contract precision , that's what cuts through the noise.

Humor breaks the ice for me and my clients, but when it doesn't land, I know immediately. That's when clear communication takes over.

I explain the outcomes: what happens if you move forward, what happens if you don't. The choice is always yours. Sometimes a calm conversation about consequences works better than a joke about Phoenix traffic.

What helps you stay comfortable during stressful decisions?

Taking control of your life means deciding who calls the shots. Real estate gave me the power to build my own future and work on my own terms. Sometimes the best career move is choosing to lead instead of follow.

Your sphere isn't just past clients. It's the 50 people who actually know you.

I've got 50 people in my core circle who trust me enough to refer business — even if they're not buying or selling themselves. That's where I'd start rebuilding if I had to.

Most agents chase new leads. I protect the relationships that already exist.
What does your sphere look like?
