The first step to buying a home is getting PRE-QUALIFIED.

Browsing for homes online or even seeing them in person can be fun and exciting BUT it is heartbreaking if you find a place you love but you don't qualify for it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When your pre-qualified, you know exactly what you can afford and we can shop for your dream home within your budget.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now a days, homes are lasting about 3-5 days on the market (if that). Which means we need to be prepared when it comes to submitting an offer. When an offer is submitted, the seller is going to want to see that you DO qualify for the home that your wanting to submit an offer on and by having that pre-qualification in your pocket it will make the process easier for you.

I’ve been lacking in the self-care department these days and I've really noticed such a difference in my mood lately because of it. I’m really trying to make it a point to get back on the self-care train and do at least 1-2 things a day for myself. When I take time for myself I am so much more happier, productive and just a better version of me. My favorite reminder: Self-care ISN’T selfish.

My top self-care activities I love doing:
1. Getting outside + moving my body
2. Anything skincare related

4. Giving myself a manicure
5. Baking a new recipe
6. Caring for my plants
7. Watching + listening something that helps me feel inspired (TV, podcast, Youtube)

I remember this day so vividly. I was applying for a position that I had been doing for a year already (without the pay and title). I felt stuck, sad, discouraged about my situation. Fast forward a bit, I got the position I applied for. Fast forward a little bit more, I felt like I was being held back from my fullest potential. I was in a position that capped me at how much money I could make, all while waiting to hit a timeframe to be able to move up to the next position that didn’t even interest me. I was extremely unhappy but was scared to do something about it for so long.

Leaving my full time position was REALLY scary but so far it has been extremely rewarding. Just in this short period of time, I’ve learned that this is where I’m supposed to be. At the end of the day, I’m in control of my situation, my business, the money I’m capable of making all while helping people get through the home buying and selling process. I couldn’t be happier.

I’m not going to lie, leaving my full time job to become a real estate agent was SCARY but I’m officially 2 weeks in and I’m LOVING it! 🥳

I want to share a little story on what led me to wanting to become a real estate agent.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Shortly after high school, my boyfriend and I wanted to move out but neither of us were really in the position too. We had this obsession at looking at model homes and apartments. One day we walked into a sales office and saw some model homes and fell in LOVE. After looking at the model homes, we went back into sales office to talk to the agent and he pointed us into the direction of a spec home. Next thing you know we were wiring money for an earnest deposit. When we think back on this experience, neither of us were really in love with this house but more so in love with the idea of living together on our own. We were young, broke, uneducated and when you think about it we had no one in our corner thinking of our best interest (just a sales agent looking to get a spec home off his hands in trade for some commission).

This is why I became a realtor, solely because of this experience. I want to help people avoid bad experiences like this.

Hey you, welcome to my page. I’ve seen quite a few new faces follow me on here so I thought I’d introduce myself for those who don’t know me. My name is Cierra Reid and I’m the face behind this account.

I live in sunny Scottsdale Arizona with my pup, plants and boyfriend. I’m pretty obsessed with my pup Lola. If you know me, then you know that already. If you don’t, then you’ll quickly learn. I’m a native to Arizona and just recently moved to Scottsdale and LOVE IT! When I’m not driving down Scottsdale road, there is a 95% chance I’m roaming around on Main Street at Disneyland.

I consider myself to be a self-care enthusiast and on the daily I am focused on making self-care a priority and not a chore. I am a professional when it comes to binge watching TV, my current favorite show is S*x and The City. When I’m not watching TV, in Disneyland or self-caring I’m probably on Pinterest looking up a new recipe to attempt (I’ve really become quite the chef thanks to the pandemic). Baking has become my newest obsession. My most recent accomplishment is Sourdough Bread. I know, I’m impressed too.
