What up with Real Estate this week?

Last week the 3-month (partial) reprieve on tariffs between US and China sparked joy for the stock market, but saw the bond market sell off. All this crazy volatility reminds me how nice it is to own a home: no daily investment stress & powerful long-term wealth creation. It’s not all doom and gloom though because there are ways around these high interest rates and lots of Sellers are willing to help buy down the rate in order to get the sell done.

What’s Up with Real Estate, This Week?

Traditionally with the holidays upon us, real estate deals tend to slow down. In my mind it's the best time for buyers to get an offer accepted and with leverage swaying their way. Feel free to give me a call if you're thinking of doing anything in the real estate world or have any questions.

Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving! 🧡🤎💛

What’s Up With Real Estate This Week?

The inventory of homes for sale is up 28% year-over-year (more choices for buyers!), but 30-yr mortgage rates are back near 7% (affordability issues for buyers). It’s tough to think about making a move right now, I know. But don’t forget: home ownership builds wealth, and getting started is the key.

It’s been a very cruel October for would-be buyers, with average 30-yr mortgage rates spiking on concerns about job market strength, stubborn inflation, and fast-rising US debt levels. Looking on the bright side, however, inventory levels continue to rise and competition levels are falling. 🎃👻

Never underestimate the power of hospitality!

🏨 My background in the hospitality industry has been instrumental in my journey to becoming a real estate agent. From learning the importance of customer service to honing my communication skills, it’s shaped me into a well-rounded professional.

I believe that anyone in sales could benefit from a stint in hospitality. The skills you learn—listening, problem-solving, and adaptability—are invaluable.
Have any other sales professionals out there had a hospitality background? I’d love to hear your experiences!
