Hi. thanks for joining my Cave Creek Group. I was taking a trip down Memory Lane in Cave Creek. This has always been my favorite place to have fun and to sell Real Estate.
I moved to Arizona in 1979, and Cave Creek was where I hoped to call home. Back then, I had a real estate experience that did not go the way it should have. It was very disappointing, but it also taught me something important: who you hire matters. Negotiation matters. Experience matters. And guiding people the right way matters.
That experience stayed with me.
Being in sales prior to becoming a Realtor, I knew the real estate industry would benefit having someone like me — someone who took the job seriously, is trustworthy, who prequalifys Buyers before showing them homes they could not afford and who negotiates in fairness so everyone wins. Someone tenacious who would not give up when things got hard.
So, I changed careers and became a licensed Realtor.
The first home I sold in Cave Creek was in 2005 in Tatum Ranch. It was a Tri-level. In NY I grew up in one and felt right at home. If you ever heard of the Tri-Level Queen back then, that was me.
Many of you may remember “That Girl in Real Estate” — the one who closed on time and fought to get you the sales price you wanted and never gave up. You might have been my client?
This is a short story is about my first listing in Tatum Ranch, in 2005. It was a rainy night, I was going on a listing appointment and I stopped at a house had a FSBO sign on it. I knocked on the door, it was the wrong house. We talked and I shared I felt this home was underpriced and asked for the listing. The Seller thought I was wrong but agreed only if I was able to get her more than she was selling it for by owner, and I did. She was shocked and referred several close friends. Thanks to finding the wrong house, my future seemed bright and prosperous.
I am not a girl anymore, but I am still “That Girl in Real Estate” — the name many of you gave me years ago for being the real estate agent who never gives up and makes you feel like your the only one. Over the years I gained more experience and am a little bit wiser.
I still love Cave Creek and would be honored to serve as your Realtor again. Please keep me in mind, I appreciate it! ~ Gail Oleaga-West USA Realty 602-316-5320
