Guys, my heart is heavy as I write this.

Last Sunday, my cousin, who is only 44 years old, suffered a major hemorrhagic stroke. He’s a devoted husband and the father of five beautiful children. He is truly one of the most amazing people I know. His laugh is so infectious, the kind that fills a room. He’s kind, caring, and always shows up for the people he loves.

This has broken our hearts into so many pieces. It’s moments like this that remind us how fragile life really is and how grateful we should be for just one more day on this earth. When we think we’re having a hard time, there are others walking through unimaginable pain.

It feels so unfair. I keep asking, why? Why did this have to happen? Only God knows. I’m trusting Him completely and praying for a full recovery, and whatever His will may be, I pray for strength and peace to accept it.

Just wanted to share this encouragement: ‘Equipped for Battle’ from Ephesians 6:10-18. We’re not fighting people, but spiritual forces and God has given us His armor. Start with the Belt of Truth to stay grounded in His Word, the Breastplate of Righteousness to guard your heart with His grace, and the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace to stand firm and walk in His peace. Put it on daily you’ve got this because He’s got you!
