Reinventing a Tradition. ❤️

The only constant in life is change, and sometimes our favorite traditions evolve right along with us.

As we head into the 11th year of our annual Thanksgiving Pie Party, we’re giving one of our favorite traditions a little refresh. With both of my boys now a plane ride away, this empty-nester mama is navigating the holidays in a new season of life while making sure family time remains a priority.

This year, we’ll gather for a relaxed Pie Pick-Up & Mingle—an opportunity to catch up, share a few refreshments, and head home with one of the delicious pies from Amadio Ranch that have become part of so many Thanksgiving tables over the years.

This tradition has always been about staying connected, I’m looking forward to seeing everyone before Thanksgiving and for all of you to still meet up. So many wonderful relationships created over the years at this holiday tradition.

I can’t wait to see you!

Some homes are special because of the features they offer. Others are special because of the lives they’ve held.

This one is both.

The sellers and I have been friends since our kids were in elementary school. Over the years we’ve served on PTO together, rescued dogs, did businesses together, worked out side by side, and celebrated many of life’s milestones. Like many of our friends, watching their family grow has been a gift.

Eleven years ago they chose this beautiful home to raise their children and all the dreams they had those many years ago have come true. Countless conversations around the spacious kitchen island. Long summer days spent splashing in the pool. Birthday parties, holiday traditions, homework at the counter, and all of the little moments that quietly become the memories we treasure most.

From the moment you walk through the front door, there’s a warmth that’s hard to describe but impossible to miss. This home has been deeply loved and every square inch enjoyed and infused with happiness. Now it’s ready for its next chapter, might that be you?

This exceptional property comes to market after being loved by its current family since 2010. Like many of our clients at Tukee Homes, I’ve personally known the Seller for many years as we raised our children together.

With time comes change and the time had come to downsize. The kids are all grown up and the nest is empty. It’s an emotional process for everyone involved, including myself at times. I guide you through every step of the way with care and empathy. Being a fellow empty nester, I feel you.

This particular journey began back in February. It has been a labor of love and we are very honored to represent our Seller in finding the next family who will raise them up in the spectacular home in one of the most spectacular of settings.

There are so many rewarding things about what I get to do every day that ‘keeps a roof over our head and food on our table’, as was always included in our nightly prayers raising my boys. I’ve felt extremely fortunate to have landed in this second career path in life when we moved to Phoenix, and days like today make it that much more special.

THIS little lady is 27 years old and doing it the way real estate is meant to serve us. She leveraged the purchase of a small condo she bought years ago and has turned it into a four bedroom, two bath, 1800 ft.² single-family detached home with a giant backyard for her beloved doggies. I’m not sure who is more excited for her to move in, her or me!

She did this all on her own, saving for this day. At 27! Goals. Eye on the prize. Doing the hard stuff. And let’s not leave out a tremendous Faith like you don’t come across often. I watched God answer her prayers, it’s been pretty amazing.

Can’t wait to see the doggies enjoying their new yard, well done Brookie!
