Today, sharing a roof with extended family is one of the most intentional, strategic decisions a household can make. Nearly 85,000 Valley families are already living this way.

Rising costs, shifting caregiving needs, and new zoning flexibility across Arizona have made multigenerational living highly practical. In fact, it is an element worth planning around from the very beginning of your home search.

Properties that support this lifestyle, featuring:
▪️ Casitas
▪️ Flexible layouts
▪️ Or dual suites

Are standing out in the Phoenix market for a very specific reason. They provide proximity without sacrificing privacy.

Every family scenario is unique, and the right home looks different for everyone. Whether you are looking for a property with a detached casita or a layout that keeps three generations comfortable under one roof, that is the exact conversation I am here to help you navigate.

A big thank you to AZ BIG Media and The AZ Insider for featuring these insights.

Some listings are marketed. Others are simply uploaded. There is a difference.

Selling a home in the current market starts with positioning.
⏭️ Is the pricing creating interest without leaving value on the table?
⏭️ Does the home present in a way that creates emotion?
⏭️ Are we generating enough attention to bring serious buyers through the door?

The goal is simple: Present the home in a way that makes someone stop, look closer, and say, “We should go see this one.” 👏

Because when price, product, and presentation work together, momentum and a sale follow.

I do not measure my success by where I land on the leaderboard. I measure it by the health and happiness of my family and the quality of my life. But that does not mean I avoid rooms filled with high performers. In fact, I seek them out.

I recently returned from the eXp Top 250 Mastermind. I was surrounded by agents who move massive volume, the kind of people the industry tells you to be intimidated by.

My goal in those rooms is never to "fit in." My goal is to find one thing.

I am looking for that one idea, one sentence, or that one shift in perspective that I can apply to my business. I know that I can elevate my entire business just through the discourse taking place in that room.

However, many agents do not have regular access to that level of discourse. That is where the Tuesday AgentXcel call comes in.

It is a room specifically designed to remove the "I do not belong" energy. Whether you are at eXp or another brokerage, you are invited to join the conversation. We skip the surface-level small talk and go straight to the strategies that are actually working in the industry right now.

You do not need $100 million in production to join us. You just need to be looking for that one thing that will move your business forward.

Join us on Tuesdays and let the discourse elevate your game.

Headlines often ignore the most important fundamental of the Phoenix market: Our decade-long housing shortage.

The reality is that for the ten years prior to 2020, our region was consistently behind in construction starts for our population. We were essentially building a structural housing deficit for an entire decade. There were simply more people moving to the Valley than there were homes available to house them.

This is why the data and the analytics do not indicate a market crash. When you have a massive population influx meeting a chronic lack of inventory, the law of supply and demand creates a solid floor for our real estate values.

We may see prices settle, or we may see a short-term pullback in specific micro-pockets. But a leveling off of the market is a very different scenario from a collapse.

Your decision to buy or sell should never be based on headlines or market data alone.

If you are trying to figure out what this market means for your specific situation, that is the conversation worth having. DM or give me a call at 602-595-4200. I am happy to talk it through.

Most agents are not lacking effort. They are putting in the time, showing up, and doing what they believe moves the business forward.

But over time, you start to realize something: Not all environments contribute to growth in the same way.

There are great brokerages, strong teams, and solid systems in this industry. Those things matter.

But beyond structure, there is another layer that often gets overlooked:
1️⃣ Proximity to people who are actively working through the same challenges.
2️⃣ Conversations that go beyond surface-level updates.
3️⃣ Spaces where ideas are shared, tested, and refined in real time.

That is where a lot of growth actually happens. Because the right environment sharpens how you think, how you operate, and how you improve over time.

I left the traditional brokerage model because I saw this recurring flaw. Your manager or brokerage owner is often responsible for 50, 100, or even more people, so you are plugged into a system. They do not have the capacity to mentor you on a deeper level.

I chose eXp Realty because it is built on a different philosophy. It is a supportive community where agents are actually incentivized to help each other succeed. This model replaces the "gatekeeping" culture with one of high-level collaboration.

That is also the kind of community we create on our weekly Tuesday collaboration call. Agents from any brokerage come together to share what is actually working and push each other forward.

If that is the room you have been looking for, the seat is yours.

Top performers do not eliminate the negative voice. They just learn how to kick it out faster.

You might always have a negative voice that questions, hesitates, or tells you that you are not good enough. The true difference maker is not whether that voice shows up. It is how quickly you kick it out.

Early in my career, I allowed fear, scarcity, and negativity to drive my motivation. It was like having a relentless critic sitting on a couch in my brain, constantly questioning my abilities.

Through years of intentional work, I had to unlearn that behavior. I had to completely evict that critic from my mind.

Today, my drive comes from positivity and abundance.

Does that negative voice occasionally try to sneak back through the back door? Absolutely.

When it does, I have to recognize it immediately and kick it out all over again. That specific discipline, repeated over and over, is exactly what separates high performers from the rest of the pack.

I hear it from agents across the Valley all the time: it is incredibly easy to feel scattered in this industry. Between shifting market dynamics and the constant pressure to try the "next big thing," many professionals lose sight of the foundation that actually builds a career.

On Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, I am joining Lexy Komichak to lead a Bootcamp specifically for real estate agents who feel they need to refocus and recenter.

I have spent over 14 years in this business. If there is one thing I have learned, it is that high performance is not built on luck or the latest trends. It is built on a mastery of the basics and a relentless focus on mindset.

I recently had the honor of joining a panel discussion on a topic that is highly relevant right now: how to flourish in the face of adversity.

While a booming market certainly makes business easier, it is possible to achieve positive growth regardless of the economic climate.

I am deeply grateful to CrossCountry Mortgage and Navi Title for inviting me to contribute to this space and share my playbook for growing in difficult markets. Helping others find their footing and flourish when things get tough is a fundamental part of why I do what I do. 👉 When we elevate the standards of our peers, the entire community benefits. Our clients deserve the most professional, educated, and resilient agents possible.

If you were in the room, I trust that you walked away with a new perspective on your own growth. If you were not there but are looking for a fresh strategy to tackle this market, my door is always open.
