Dear
Cushman & Wakefield Asset Services is working with Feeding America to support their mission of “advancing change in America by ensuring equitable access to nutritious food for all in partnership with food banks, policymakers, supporters, and the communities they serve”. The food Drive begins on 4/30/2023 it ends on 5/26/2023. Please participate and make a difference.
Feeding America is the largest domestic nationwide network of more than 200 food banks, soup kitchens, shelters, and other community-based agencies. They serve more than 40 million people each year. 98% of all donations raised for Feeding America go directly into their programs serving our neighbors in the U.S. 100% of all U.S. counties have food insecurity.
Did you know that for every $1.00 raised, Feeding America is able to provide at least 10 meals?
Join us as we raise funds to provide meals for our most vulnerable, families with children, seniors, and communities of color.
Learn more about Feeding America and please consider a donation of any amount. We look forward to making an impact!
NEEDED FOOD ITEMS Food banks accept dry and canned food donations. What does that mean? Basically, any food that is “shelf-stable” or nonperishable – you can keep it in your pantry, and it won’t go bad. And remember, only donate food that hasn’t reached its “sell-by” date yet. Specifically, food banks often need items like:
• Peanut butter
• Canned soup
• Canned fruit
• Canned vegetables
• Canned stew
• Canned fish
• Canned beans
• Pasta (most prefer whole grain)
• Rice (most prefer brown rice
Thank you,
