This is what we all have been waiting for! More restaurants and places to go! I was able to get a lot more details on the MASSIVE new development called LEGACY PARK. Thanks to a very reliable colleague!!
And when I say massive, I mean 200 acres and MULTI-BILLION dollars massive.
Think…
✨ Scottsdale Quarter-style shopping and dining
🍽️ 300,000 square feet of upscale retail and chef-driven restaurants
🏡 2,500 new residences
🏨 A 600-room luxury resort
💼 3.4 MILLION square feet of office and corporate space
🌳 A gorgeous 20+ acre urban park
💦 A huge lake
🎉 Community gathering and event spaces
And it’s all planned for Southeast Mesa near Mesa Gateway Airport and SR-24.
But here’s the part I think is REALLY interesting…
The developer behind Legacy Park is Vestar, the company behind destinations like Tempe Marketplace and Desert Ridge Marketplace, and they are comparing the retail and restaurant experience to Scottsdale Quarter.
So imagine having that kind of shopping, restaurants, entertainment, employment and resort experience right here in our part of the Valley. 👀
Construction is currently expected to begin in 2027, and the entire project will be developed over approximately 20 years.
Vestar estimates Legacy Park could eventually create more than 20,000 jobs and generate approximately $56 BILLION in economic activity.
