Here are some before and after photos from the project I finished in January, 2022.

This project was a tough one for me.

I purchased the home in July of 2020. There were a LOT of unknowns at that time, which gave me some nerves… but my plan has always be to hold long term and ride the waves that can and will come.

After giving the tenant two months (rent free) to come and gather his belongings (he was already living in Washington). The renovations and restorations started in late September of 2020.

About one month into that work I tested positive for Covid in mid October. The ensuing brain fog and fatigue made it increasingly difficult to think, prioritize, focus, project manage, and execute on my vision.

After that I fell into a cycle of spinning my wheels. Things were getting done in the wrong order (I was avoiding/differing the bigger jobs). In those months I’ve never hated a project as much as I did then.

As in many difficult situations time was a great healer. I allowed myself time to step back and take a break. I wanted to spent my time elsewhere anyways with - she was very pregnant at the time.

Months after Theo can into the world my time became even more precious. I repriorotized the to-do list and asked for more help with the bigger projects.

And just like that 17 month later - the lion roared once more.

- Endure Fort ✊🏼

A huge THANK YOU to those whom I couldn’t have done this without:

and I just got this beauty in the under contract.
With a little love we could really make it shine again. Decisions, decisions…

Some special visitors stop by the green frog house while I was turning it over for new tenants.

With just 20 hours between the last tenants departure and the next tenants arrival it was a bit hectic.

But I’m grateful for this moment and memory. It’s not just a labor, but a labor of love with a greater purpose 👨‍👩‍👦

That’s an importance perspective to remember (especially when cussing under my breath at the never ending challenges, problems to solve, and spilled paint 🤓)

PS.. Theo, your days of helping me will be plenty. Don’t rush. It’s okay to take you time💛

I’ve always been drawn to older/vintage things. They’ve got a quality about them that warrants appreciation in my mind. When I work on older homes I’m always looking for ways to preserve their original components or add them back. Last summer I found this Zenith Color TV 📺 from the early 1950’s on the curb. It got a little weathered from the elements, but I gave it a little love and turned it into the bathroom vanity in my most recent project.

Look at this beauty, located in the Coronado neighborhood of Central Phoenix! Built in 1948 and just over 1,300 sq ft. The home maintains a vintage aesthetic with a dash of modern interior design. It offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1 car garage, 1 carport space, extended driveway, and grassy landscaping. You'll also have your own backyard along with a covered patio, storage shed, lemon and lime trees, and a pool for those hot summer days. And they are all waiting for your finishing touches. This home also includes a bonus guest house, which could be rented out for a great !

DM me if you'd want to set up a showing this or any other of the Coronado homes.

Listed at $599,500. Please enjoy the pictures from the listing by Ryan Melville with Keller Williams Realty Phoenix.
