"Anyone can get their real estate license, put a sign in the yard, and write a contract, but, for me, true excellence in this industry must revolve around client experience and genuine service. Not because of some inner desire to bring justice to the masses, more that I just really liked engaging with people that had a different perspective and trying to get them to see things in a new way. There'
s an art to successfully articulating a new perspective to someone that gives you no benefit of the doubt, especially when you're a tactless teenager. I became better at communicating and actively listening; reading between the lines of what was said and unsaid. When you understand someone's perspective, you can anticipate their objections or questions and proactively address them. This is where I truly learned what real communication was, and as I moved in to the food, and then finance, industry at the service level, put these skills to practice and honed them." Whether cashing checks or refilling drinks, awareness and anticipation was the foundation of my attitude in serving others. These ideas started as simple skills: remembering a customer's special order, refilling a drink before they even thought about asking, knowing what bills they want their check cashed in, or never forgetting their name. I was so practiced with these skills, they bled over to my personal relationships without much intentionality. To this day, I could still walk in to a burger place and order for my group of old high school friends. After about 3 years at the service level of these industries, I transitioned these skills in to real estate. Nearly 7 years ago, I started as a phone rep for a small brokerage with the goal of dramatically growing their business. I used these skills, and developed many more, which grew and helped craft my service mindset for my clients that I hold today. Anyone can get their real estate license, put a sign in the yard, and write a contract, but, for me, true excellence in this industry must revolve around client experience and genuine service. It's this standard that drives my real estate relationships. Every client has unique expectations, preferences, challenges, and goals, and my goal is to listen, ask questions, and observe well enough so that I can advise, direct, and anticipate needs throughout the entire process. This is how trust is truly won in our clients, and provides a real estate experience that can be relational, effective, and unparalleled in our industry. I'm excited to connect with you and begin crafting your one-of-a-kind real estate experience."
