Man of my Dreams Soliloquy

As a little girl I saw the movie and it changed my life. It has me and formed the way I see love, how I relate to people for whom I am instantly bonded with, and the my soul truly to another. The music for the movie was written by John Barry just after he lost his parents and I have played it all my life, as I married, for my children in-intro, and it remains on my playlist. The movie is based on the book by Richard Matheson, The author of I am legend. Released in 1980 starring and I was fortunate enough to go to Mackinac Island for the 25th anniversary of the movie and actually play the part on the stage that Jane Seymour depicted the role of Elise McKenna. There are moments in life when you cross paths with certain people that you can’t help but feel like you already know, sometimes it’s just a friend, other times it’s someone for whom you’ve loved many lifetimes. As an old soul myself I have crossed paths with a few that I have known, but there is always that one that I will never forget, that one who loves me most.

A repost: Safe Haven

In March 22, 2011 my 13 year old son went upstairs and shot himself, dying in my arms. Since that time I have had to come to terms with not only his death, but the ever lasting question of “why”. I made this video about 6 months prior to the launch of my book.
