When we found out that Danielle Bócz was pregnant nine months ago, I decided it was time to get in the best shape of my life. Not just to look better—but to actually become healthier.
Around that time, I saw a post by Tyler Kimbrough where he said he was “training to be a dad” before his son was born. That stuck with me. It became the motivation I needed to make some real changes.
I committed to running every day, lifting weights, spending time in the sauna, drastically cutting back on drinking, and dialing in my nutrition. The goal wasn’t just fitness—it was becoming the healthiest version of myself for my family.
Today I hit my goal of getting under 7% body fat. My bloodwork is the best it’s ever been, my cholesterol is down, my A1c is right where it should be, and I can run 10 miles at a sub-8-minute pace.
This was never about chasing a number on a scale. It was about giving my wife and daughter the best version of me and making sure I’m around for a long time.
We can’t wait to meet you, Clara Rae. See you on 08/18. ❤️
