My name is Ryan Gamlin and damn, I love what I do!! 🕺🏻💐 It’s been 4 years since I’ve shared with my very few followers 😅 at the time who I am and as this page has grown, so have I! So let’s start…

🏡My roots began in Minnesota and have since spread to Peoria, AZ where I own a home with my Son, Grayson and Puppers, Naya Papaya Borkenstein. 🥶🌳➡️ 🥵🌴

👨🏻‍🍳 ➡️ 👨🏻‍💼 Before I changed my life through real estate, I was a chef for 10 years. Fun fact: I started at Culvers as a burger flipper and not so secretly still love them ❤️ CHEESE CURDS AM I RIGHT?!

🏃🏻‍♂️ Staying active and healthy is an absolute passion of mine. My health is a top priority and value for me, right in line with my family! 👨‍👦 Without those two cups being filled, I’m often thrown out of balance.

💖 I’ve loved. I’ve lost. I’ve learned. I’ve grown. I’ve led and I’ve followed. I’m grateful to have an amazing relationship with Grayson’s mom even with us no longer being together. That is a gift I know others don’t have. I’ve lost family and I’ve gained a massive respect for how precious life is. I’ve learned to be intentional with my time and to share my energy with those who also choose me. Relationships mean more to me than any amount of money or material things. I’ve grown in so many ways and one I’m most proud of is my spirituality ✨and having discovered who I AM and my sense of self. I am a leader as a father, co-parent, man, business owner, and one day partner. I have given myself grace to also follow as I don’t have all the answers.

🌎 I have a goal to be able to CHOOSE retirement at age 40. I wish to travel for months at a time ✈️, setup a pottery wheel in my back yard and spend some days making fun and silly things out of clay 😊, buy a house on a lake to spend the summer months at 🏕️ 🚤, and to maybe one day have a highland cattle cow as a pet 🤭.

Anyone remember Maria?! 🤩 I met this sweet and caring woman 2.5 years ago at an open house out in central Phoenix. During that time she was entertaining the idea of selling her home 🏡 of 20+ years where she raised her son, grandson and other family members 👩‍👦‍👦. We’ve stayed in contact over the years preparing her for when she was ready to make that move.

So I did the thing that I advocate for the most! I BOUGHT A HOUSE!! 🔑 🏡 😊Yes, finally… and can I say it was well worth the wait?? I landed in such an incredible neighborhood with what I consider to be my ✨ dream home ✨ in this stage of life. I actually closed about a month ago and wanted to wait until I got my family out here to see it for the first time themselves🥹.

If you know me personally, which I hope many of you do, you may know that my Dad has been fighting cancer over the last year and it’s progressed into the stage where you go out and do anything on your bucket list. For my dad, one of those things was getting to see my home, the next chapter of life I’ve built and for him to know that I am going to be okay. All he could say this week was, “wow, this is just beautiful Ry… I’m so proud of you and your sister… I’m just so peaceful here…”. We got to share stories and moments of gratitude about life, adventures, people and each other. This brought me immense joy and a feeling of achievement to get this time with my family ❤️

While they were also here, we did a little early 🎉 birthday celebration 🎊 for Grayson’s 7th birthday and had some amazing friends and neighbors over. We threw water balloons on the trampoline and let the kids jump, ate delicious food and cupcakes, and filled my house with great energy, laughs, and smiles.

A little bit About Me Monday! This is my pupperino Naya Papaya Borkenstein Gamlin! She was rescued a few years ago running out in the Northern Arizona wilderness. She gives me when I’m having down days, up days and extra love when my clients offers aren’t accepted. She tore an ACL last year which unfortunately is common in her breed as a Flatcoat Retriever and is still recovering from her surgery. Lots of happiness and life in this babe. When I get home from a long day, she does spins, high pitched woofs and more licks than you could ever imagine.

Would you say, “like father, like son”?? Grayson helped me show a couple homes today and I’m so grateful I work in an industry where there’s an overall acceptance of this. As Realtors®️, we are often showing homes on the weekend and Grayson does so well with helping me turn off lights, opening doors, and adding some fun and smiles to the showing process! I haven’t met a friend or family yet who have had an issue with him helping out and honestly, if someone did, there’s a solid chance we might not work well together anyway 😉
