🏡 What’s the best flooring for a remodel? It depends on the project, budget, and function—but here’s why I tend to avoid carpet and why luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is a top choice for this home.
🚀 Flooring Considerations for a Remodel:
✔️ Carpet isn’t ideal in Arizona – Dust, heat, and allergies make it tough to maintain
✔️ Tile plank vs. Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) – Both mimic wood, but one has a sound advantage
✔️ LVP absorbs sound better – Less echo in open spaces, especially when removing walls
✔️ Cost & Installation – LVP can be slightly more expensive than tile but cheaper to install
✔️ Durability & Style – Thick wear layer, easy to install, and gives a high-end look without the price of hardwood
