Back in summer 2021, a neighbor was kind enough to drop off a photo of the thatch roof being installed which has the date of May 1987 printed on the back. Back then, this property was owned by a florist and from what I understand, they installed the thatch roof to attract attention to their business. Interestingly enough after completing all of this work, they sold the property in 1991. For the 30 years following, the owners operated an antiques shop out of here until we bought in in 2021.
