Curb appeal determines your visitors’ first impression of your home. Whether you’re planning to sell your home soon or you just want to make your guests fall in love with your home, try these 8 tips!

1. Replace old hardware like house numbers and door k***s. This is an instant upgrade that will modernize and add polish to your curb appeal!

2. Install window boxes. Window boxes filled with flowers make a house cuter–it’s a fact!

3. Replace your mailbox. It’s something you use every day, but have you thought about what your mailbox is saying about your home? If it’s worn out or dated, replace it with a fresh, new mailbox.

4. Install new light fixtures. That peeling brass finish on your porch light isn’t doing your entry any favors. Match your light fixtures to your new hardware for a cohesive look.

5. Paint the front door. If there’s one way to give your curb appeal a facelift, it’s painting your door with a fresh coat of paint! If you’re not planning on selling soon, consider a bright color to make your house pop.

6. Install landscape lighting. A nicely lit walk and landscape can really elevate the look of your yard.

If you're looking for an easy but delicious dinner, this pork loin with pineapple salsa is quick and delicious!

Heat grill to medium. In a small bowl, whisk together jerk seasoning and 2 tablespoons oil; rub all over pork tenderloin. Grill pork, covered, turning occasionally, until grill marks appear on all sides and internal temperature reaches 145°F, 18 to 22 minutes. Transfer pork to a cutting board and let rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, combine rice, 1 1/4 cups water, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, until rice is just tender, 12 to 14 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit, covered, until ready to serve.

In a medium bowl, stir together lime juice, red onion, jalapeño, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil; let sit for 5 minutes, then fold in pineapple and cilantro.

Serve jerk pork with rice topped with pineapple salsa and more cilantro. Serve with lime wedges for squeezing.
