👋 Chelsea, here. It's almost our 3rd birthday! 🥳

Storytime. 📖

It was the week of my 33rd birthday when Dennis and I made the decision to start Good Neighbor Real Estate. Dennis had been encouraging me for years to make the jump, and honestly, I did not fully believe in myself yet. But we did it. My sister Cayli use to say "do it afraid." Starting Good Neighbor was the biggest "do it afraid" moment of my life.

Three has always been my lucky number. Yes, I am a little superstitious, and for everything to fall into place in time for my 33rd birthday felt both fitting and almost too ironic to ignore.

Now, as we approach Good Neighbor’s 3rd birthday, we have experienced an incredible amount of growth and change.

With that growth came clarity. Dennis and I have made the intentional decision to go solo, transitioning Good Neighbor into a more streamlined operation as we focus our energy on the new construction division of our company. That meant making the difficult decision to part ways with our agents and begin working toward hiring support staff to support this next chapter.

This was not an easy call. We have been so lucky to work alongside truly wonderful agents, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and heart they poured into Good Neighbor. We are helping our agents transition to their new brokerages, and we are cheering them on as they continue their careers.

Three years in, I am incredibly proud of what we built and genuinely excited for what is ahead. Growth can be emotional and almost always uncomfortable, but it is also really good.

We are excited to buckle down and get to it! As always, we will service buyers and sellers at any point. From buying a starter home, to moving into your final "I'll never buy another house again." We are here to support every season-- just keep an eye out for our emphasis to be on new construction.

I absolutely love the holiday season and our small town of Picayune knows how to do it right. 🎄
 There’s just something about our downtown getting decked out with lights, popping into local coffee shops for their holiday menus, and going on a drive to look at Christmas lights with the kids that makes this time of year feel extra special. ✨
