🔨 Timber Stairs Done Right
Not all timber stairs are built the same.
These photos show exactly why we don’t cut corners when building landscape steps. We’ve seen competitors secure heavy landscape timbers with nothing more than long timber screws. While screws may hold initially, they can loosen, shear, or fail over time as frost, settling, and foot traffic put stress on the structure.
At Wolf River Property Management, we drive ½” x 24” rebar pins through our timbers and deep into the ground below. This creates a much stronger mechanical connection that helps resist movement, shifting, and separation over the years.
✅ ½” x 24” Rebar Anchors
✅ Increased Holding Strength
✅ Better Resistance to Frost Heave
✅ Built for Long-Term Stability
✅ No Shortcuts
The difference between a project that looks good today and one that still performs years from now is often hidden beneath the surface.
Quality isn’t always what you see—it’s what holds everything together.
