I have spent the last 7 years feeling like an imposter…
I’ve helped countless families buy and sell their homes- guided them through pre listing paperwork, presented offers, scheduled showings, organized inspections, talked clients off the ledge when they wanted to give up, and held their hand all the way to the closing table. I take a lot of pride in my real estate business. But as a realtor who had never owned her own home, I felt like a fraud. How can I give advice when I’ve never personally been through the process? Why would anyone listen to someone who’s never done this? But two months ago that all changed.
We finally purchased our dream home. In a neighborhood that I’ve adored since I was a little girl. And I finally feel like I belong. Becoming a homeowner wasn’t just a personal win; it was a breakthrough. I understand this journey on a deeper level now, and I’m stepping into this new chapter with pride, purpose, and a fire to help others chase their own dreams. If I can do this, so can you.
