After looking at several homes that didn’t work out, my first-time homebuyers finally found “the one!” Third time’s a charm, right? 😉 But after inspection, we found out the windows needed to be scraped and painted before we could get to closing.

And honestly? That just wasn’t in the budget to hire out. Especially when a short time frame meant additional “rush” charges from every company I talked to.

Everyone wanted to get this one across the finish line. And it showed.

The listing agent, seller, my buyers, and I all came together on a Sunday and got the job done. We showed up at 9 AM and didn’t get done until after 5 PM. It was a long day, but well worth it to get us to the closing table!

In an industry that seems obsessed with money and profit margins, it was really nice to see a group of humans roll up their sleeves and do the right thing. Even if it wasn’t the easiest or most convenient way to spend your weekend.

It’s a good reminder that a few good-hearted folks are a force to be reckoned with! Teamwork wins. And I’m proud of what we got done!

My friend Thomas has been selling Herbalife for about 10 years and worked in several nutrition clubs before finally deciding to open Main Route Nutrition right here in Hebron. He said Hebron just “felt right” and he loves the small-town feel of our community.
