Ashley and I had a mother/daughter date night recently at the Midland Theatre here in Newark. And let me just tell you, if you ever have a chance to see Illusionist Leon Etienne and his Magic Rocks Show? DO IT!

We had a fabulous time. Ashley kept volunteering anytime he needed audience participation 😂 She didn’t get picked, but she DID get to meet Leon Etienne!

He’s a fantastic illusionist and has been seen on America’s Got Talent, Jimmy Fallon, and Penn & Teller: Fool Us.

And fun fact, he’s allergic to rabbits. 🐰 Which is hilarious for a magician I think!

Thankful for any chance I get to spend quality time with my girl, but especially love making memories right here in town!

If you haven’t stopped into Lulu’s Coffeehouse yet here in Hebron… you are seriously missing out! The coffee? Absolutely delicious. But what really sets LuLu’s apart is the experience. It honestly feels less like a coffee shop and more like a daily social hour for our community!

The owner, Lara Barker, genuinely loves connecting with people. And she uses her passion for coffee to do it! When Lara was a kid, her nickname was LuLu, so naturally, that was the perfect name for her own coffee shop!

She’s truly created a wonderful space for our Hebron community! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home.

Do not push the button!

I really am looking out for you here, I promise. Before you click “Request a tour,” let me tell you what really happens when you click that little blue button…

That one click then sends your information out to not just one, but a TON of Realtors in the area all at once. Before you know it, your phone will be lighting up with calls and texts from people you have never met.

Something else to think about…you have no idea what type of agent is on the other end of the phone. Some might be amazing. Some might have just gotten their license last week. You just don’t know.

Wouldn’t you rather call someone directly that you know you can trust? That you know is knowledgeable and experienced? So do not push the button! Instead, give me a call and we’ll get you taken care of without your phone going crazy with a million unknown numbers. 😉

Hey Homeowners! Have you ever had to use your home warranty? Everyone knows being a homeowner means you get a surprise every now and then. For me? I walked into my utility room and noticed water coming through the ceiling… turns out I had a major leak from my upstairs bathroom. Not exactly how I planned to spend my day!

When you’re a homeowner and something goes wrong, you can’t call a landlord to take care of it! That’s where a GOOD home warranty can really save the day.

Thankfully, I have a home warranty through HSP Home Service Plan of Ohio, so I filed a claim and the process was actually very smooth.

They scheduled a contractor quickly and helped get the issue handled. This was a two-trip fix, due to the freezing cold and how many calls they had going on, but they did come out immediately to get the leak stopped and scheduled a quick return to finish fixing the issue.

As a Realtor®, I recommend HSP to many of my buyers and sellers because you just never know when something like this might pop up.

After experiencing it personally, I’m even MORE thankful for that extra layer of protection.

Owning a home always comes with surprises… but having the right coverage can definitely make those surprises a little less stressful!
