Everybody gets SAD or DOWN from time to time. We all face tough cirumstances, lose a family member we love, or get dissapointed by someone we trusted. But some sadness STICKS AROUND, GROWS ROOTS, and begins to NEGATIVELY AFFECT how we live our everyday lives. DEPRESSION is a complicated mental health challenge because of it’s many contributing factors. Thankfully, God has given us examples in Scripture of people who teach us how to MANAGE the darkest MOMENTS in life. Tomorrow at REAL Church we plan to offer biblcal HOPE for those who are HURTING. We also plan to IDENTIFY INDICATORS of MAJOR DEPRESSION, in order to help us recognize them in OURSELVES and in those we love and care about. God has given all of us PEOPLE and PRINCIPLES to help us have a SOUND MIND and manage our battles with DEPRESSION! I would humbly suggest inviting anyone you know who may be in a dark and heavy season to sit with you tomorrow. We are BETTER TOGETHER! See you at 8:30+10:00+11:30!

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day and boy do we have a great day planned for moms at REAL Church! Tomorrow we continue in week 2 of our Mental Health series called “SOUND MIND”, as we tackle the challenging topic of INSECURITY! We all feel INSECURITY it at DIFFERENT TIMES, but God has answers for us ALL THE TIME! So, GET TO CHURCH and get your MOMMAS TO CHURCH tomorrow so we can spoil them and so Jesus can love on them! are beyond excited to tell you that starting this Sunday we are beginning a critically important new series for the month of May, called - SOUND MIND! May is Mental Health Awareness month, and mental health threats seem to be rising more by the day. Anxiety is everywhere! Depression is like a run away train! And fear is louder than ever! Secular therapy often leaves us with the open ended question “Why Me???”. But theololgy moves us to a better question, “What is God going to do with it?” 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, and of love and of a sound mind.” Whether you call REAL Church your home, or you have never been before, we want to personally invite you and a few friends this Sunday to SOUND MIND at REAL! 8:30/10:00/11:30am!

I have got some really GOOD NEWS! Sunday is just a few short hours away, and tomorrow is PALM SUNDAY! Tomorrow is a celebration of the day that Jesus started the countdown to the last week of his earthly life. Jesus rode an unexpected donkey into a crowded city, took on the phony and took his place as our King. Tomorrow we not only celebrate KING JESUS, we also close out our March PARENT TRAP series. We have a seat for you and God’s Spirit is always waiting on you! Pack up your family and come join your church family as we sing HOSANNA!

Happy Birthday!!! Yep, that is right! REAL Church turns 13 tomorrow! And we not only celebrate 13 AMAZING YEARS of God’s unbelievable faithfulness, we also jump into WEEK 3 of Parent Trap, with another BIG TRAP parents are FALLING INTO today - The FREE RANGE TRAP! One of the biggest deceptions of the devil is to convince parents to remain silent and let our children find their own way. Guess what??? Satan is NEVER SILENT! And the Bible clearly tells parents to “TRAIN UP A CHILD”, not to “SET FREE A CHILD”! We also have free cupcakes for everyone, as well as baptisms in 3rd service! Grab your spouse, your kids, your neighbors and your Bible, and get your PRAISE ON at REAL tomorrow at 8:30+10:00+11:30!

There is absolutely no doubt that the overhwelming majority of parents today not only love their kids, but want to give them a life they never had themselves. The Best Part of the Week starts TOMORROW! After a week of hard work, crazy kids, surprise stresses and unending challenges, God has provided us all with a RE-SET BUTTON! Church is the place we can DROP OFF OUR BAGGAGE, LEAVE OUR WORRIES and SURRENDER OUR SINS. It is also the place we can SING FOR JOY, FIND NEW HOPE, and GET FILLED BACK UP! Tomorrow at REAL Church we are going to diccesct two opposing extremes in our often faulty human attempts at acheiving HOLINESS - LEGALISM and LICENSE! We tend to be led today by a world of extremes, instead of being led by God’s Spirit! HOLINESS is not a CONTROLLING LIST not is it ABUSING GRACE.
