Today is the 100th year anniversary of the Office of the State Fire Marshal, a part of Cal Fire, and an essential service to our state. Thank you, State Fire Marshal, for supporting safe homes and communities throughout California!

The State Fire Marshal develops our building and fire code. The office carries out strategies to help communities prepare for wildfire and develops and delivers training programs for the California fire service, among other responsibilities.

The concept of nesting is dear to my heart. I love birds and love to decorate and beautify my own environment, and of course I’m in the business of working with people and their “nests” - finding a new nest or letting go of a nest that has served them well so they can fly onward to a new nesting spot. As a general rule, the better the interest rates, the greater the number of buyers in the market. And the greater the number of buyers in the market, the higher the sales prices. In a nutshell: This is good news for buyers (cheaper mortgage money) and for sellers (greater price strength). 🎉
