All of our trashout pricing is based on the volume of material to be hauled away and we measure this volume in cubic yards. A good judge of a cubic yard is a standard washing machine. Our pricing per cubic yard typically ranges anywhere between $20.00 - $40.00 depending on the type of material being hauled away. Each job is bid on a case by case basis where we will come and give you a free estimate for the removal of your debris. To schedule a OPS representative to come out and give you an estimate on your job, see our Contact Page.

Professional house cleaners typically set house cleaning prices one of two ways: By hour, or by square foot.

Hourly costs range from $25 to $35. Square foot rates are often used for a "first clean," as a baseline for pros to work from. First cleans are also more expensive, as cleaners need to determine how long they'll spend in a home, and if there are any rooms which require extra work — for example a family bathroom or large play area.

In addition, rates will differ based on how often you want pros to clean. Generally, the more times a house cleaner comes in a month, the lower the price per visit, though this is often a matter of $5 or $10 per clean. Some cleaners offer a discount if homeowners are willing to pay for multiple visits upfront, or if they sign a long-term contract. (Angie's List)

Our Story

We've been in the property preservation industry collectively for over 30 years. Beginning in the 80s I started IM Locks and canvassed thousands of homes along the Eastern Seaboard. One thing I've learned: you have to stand behind your work. In all the many folks that I've served over the years, many of them have been repeat customers even telling friends. So to young entrepreneurs I'd say: Take pride in your work and others will too.

Exodus Chapter 20

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of YHWH your Elohim: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates:

11 For [in] six days YHWH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore YHWH baruch the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Living in the hot and very humid conditions of the Ozarks temperature incise have been in excess of 105. With humidity comes mold, with mold comes discomfort for many individuals.

Here's an article from our source the National Organization Of Remediators and Mold Inspectors (NORMI @ normi.org) on the seriousness of mold:

ASK A NORMI EXPERT

This article is a reprint as it was published in www.ForSaleByOwner.com Vol 7 Issue 7 New Orleans, LA

"Should I be concerned about mold and mildew or is this just another scare tactic?"

I recently performed an aerobic (air) mold test on a house near the beach in St. Petersburg, Florida. This came from a lead I received from an ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) Home Inspector with whom I work closely on such problems. He had seen some mildew in the master bedroom closet ceiling and was concerned that it might be more than just your average strain. Because he is very aware of the potential problems with toxic molds, he decided to give the realtor my name and she called to inquire about our services.

I told her about our Microbiological Test Kit for all types of mold and mildew and that it would be important to know what kind of mold is present before you start any remediation process. She responded by asking, "Should I really be concerned about mold and mildew or is this just another scare tactic? Why can't I just bleach this stuff and paint over it?" I was shocked by her question and wondered how she could be so unaware of the real health concerns now associated with toxic molds.

Molds are microscopic organisms found virtually everywhere, indoors and outdoors. Many of our building materials are especially susceptible to promoting mold growth and so our indoor environments can readily become incubators for all types of mold and mildew. When you add a little more moisture and a cool place to hide, mold and mildew can take over an area very quickly. One professor at LSU said, "Our homes are just giant petri dishes!" Therefore, the sources of mold problems in your home or office can be: flooding, leaky roofs, humidifiers, damp crawl spaces, constant plumbing leaks, excessive numbers of house plants, steam from cooking, shower/bath steam, wet clothes, and even your air conditioning system itself. Once disturbed, mold sends out spores (similar to seeds) and those spores can reek havoc on your sinuses and respiratory system.

Exposure to mold can be a health concern for anyone but is especially troublesome for infants, children, elderly, immune compromised patients, pregnant women, and individuals with existing respiratory conditions. A wide range of health problems including wheezing, nasal and sinus congestion, watery and red eyes, nose and throat irritation, fevers, asthma, emphysema and other symptoms result from ingesting these mold spores. The cause may be mold that you cannot see.

But what about toxic mold? Stachybotrys Chartarum. Sounds ominous, doesn't it. Stachybotrys is a greenish-black toxic mold that colonizes particularly well in high-cellulose material such as straw, hay, wet leaves, dry wall, carpet, wall paper, fiber-board, ceiling tiles, thermal insulation, etc. Before drying, Stachybotrys is wet and slightly slimy to touch. The toxic mold grows in areas where the relative humidity is above 55%. Sounds like New Orleans, doesn't it? So it shouldn't surprise us to find cases of the toxic mold in the Crescent City and surrounding areas. Remember the family in Chalmette that moved out of their apartment last year because of toxic mold? Stachybotrys produces a mycotoxin that causes mycotoxicosis. This type of mold is thought to be a possible cause of the "sick building syndrome" and a multitude of "building related illnesses". Children's exposure to this mold is thought most likely to cause pulmonary hemosiderosis (bleeding in the lungs). Wouldn't it be important to know if Stachybotrys is present in your indoor environment? When the Florida realtor asked me about toxic mold, I only needed to direct her to her favorite Internet search engine. By typing in "toxic mold" she was introduced to a whole new world of articles and news stories regarding the real dangers of toxic mold. So here's the happy ending for her and her client: I was able to test the house for mold presence, suggest a reasonable remediation process, and assure the homeowner that toxic was NOT present.

Torah & Mold

I was INTRIGUED to recently come across an article in USA Weekend about a family who lived in a house plagued with mold and who suffered from many ailments because of it. It concerned me because my home also has some places of mold and mildew from time to time. I was wondering if there is something written in Torah that addresses this issue—perhaps the causes for it, or ways to get rid of it. I know that God is concerned with our health and I am now quite concerned about this issue.

As is typical with Torah teachings, just about every daily issue that we face is addressed in some way or another. Mold and mildew in a home is no exception. The Hebrew word translated as "mildew" is the word negah and it means, ‘plague’. The root of this word is the verb nagah, which means, [to] ‘touch’. The word negah is also used in Exodus 11:1 and Leviticus 13:2, where it is also translated as ‘plague.’ It is a word that is commonly found in connection with the Hebrew word tzara’at. In this reference, the two words together can be translated as a ‘leprous sore.’

There are many diverse treatments for someone who has this infectious disease which can result in complete healing (see Leviticus chapters 13-14). Also see page 40 of this issue. Likewise, there are also several diverse treatments for a house with this particular problem (read the entire text of Leviticus 14:33-57). These treatments range from completely removing the stones containing the mold, to scraping it all off the inner walls of the home, to destroying the entire dwelling. Unfortunately, the text seems to indicate that for the house "infected" with negah, or mold, the final solution was often times a complete disassembling of the house until there was no structure remaining at all. Following this, the Torah instructs the kohen to deposit these building materials at a designated "unclean" place outside of the city (Leviticus 14:43-45).
‘Modern Mold’

For the person who asked this question about her home, these words are serious and might possibly seem extremely impractical in our day and age. Beloved, before we start ripping our homes apart board by board, let us look with greater scrutiny at the text which specifies that the mold or mildew, green or red in color, is ingrained in the walls and of an invasive nature, i.e. it spreads throughout the house. Perhaps the reason for these specifics is to alert us of dangerous and infectious types of mold.

Black mold is commonplace around windows in the winter, resulting from moisture that collects inside the pane and rolls into the tracks. This kind of mold is also common in bathrooms. Fruits can mold in our refrigerators if left for a long period of time. However, this type of mold is quickly eradicated. Keeping a watchful eye on foodstuffs that are susceptible to the growth of mold can prevent it appearing in your fridge. However, if you do find mold on some item, simply throwing away that which is affected and giving the inside walls and shelves of the fridge a wipe with the appropriate cleanser will deal with the problem effectively. In bathrooms, spraying the affected area with bleach in a sq**rt bottle and then keeping it as dry as possible is an effective way of ridding mildew and mold from surfaces. It would seem that this type of "build-up" mold is quite different than the "creeping" mildew on walls and ceilings that was obviously being spoken of in the USA Weekend article. [Please note that these are merely speculations, not in-depth research on this subject, neither of the biblical text nor on a scientific level.]

The issue raised by our reader is compelling enough to warrant our awareness of it, and to prompt each of us to investigate it more thoroughly. The ailments suffered—asthma, memory loss and severe, prolonged illnesses—were listed conclusively as results of living in a moldy environment. We can stand amazed at the relevance and "protection" of God’s Word. Perhaps without such an expository article on mildew in the home, we would have read the scripture in Leviticus thinking it meaningless, stringent and even irrelevant. Obviously, this is not just a problem that plagued our ancestors and we can consider the LORD’s guidelines sure and applicable to our lives today. What a testimony of ADONAI’s benevolence and kindness to His people. We can be so thankful that His wisdom dictated the need to teach us about what is harmful in our lives.
