As a Bay Area Realtor and native, I often think about how I can provide support, love and opportunity for unsheltered people. How do you balance selling million dollar properties with the trickle down effect of human beings being pushed out of their homes and communities. Every day in the Bay, we see the harsh reality of income inequality and the dark side of capitalism.

This picture is food for thought and sums it up. An unsheltered man living on a bus stop bench sponsored but a top producing Realtor with a tag line “interesting people, interesting houses.”

The wealthiest metropolis, in the wealthiest state, in the wealthiest Nation, in the history of civilization, must do better.
