Reminder Pierre City Ordinance has restrictions on fireworks. A good rule of thumb is if the firework is airborne or makes a loud report (bang) it is likely illegal with in the city limits. The following are a few reminders on fireworks safety:

*Never discard used fireworks in the garbage/dumpster without soaking in water first. Avoid placing a dumpster next your house after discarding used fireworks.
*Avoid discharging fireworks by tall vegetation and near buildings. *Water should always be readily available.
*All children should be supervised while discharging fireworks.
*Never relight a dud firework. Wait 20 minutes then soak in water.

Riverview Village Condominiums

Rent prices include an unfinished basement and
single-stall garage are as follows:

2 Bedroom - $1,025 per month (864 sq ft)
3 Bedroom - $1,125 per month (1080 sq ft)
4 Bedroom - $1,225 per month (1320 sq ft)

Landlord pays water, garbage, snow removal of city sidewalks and private parking lots, and yard maintenance; all other utilities will be the tenant’s responsibility. Heat is natural gas-forced air (MDU). Leases are month-to-month.

Security deposit required at move-in equal to one month’s rent.
Pets are allowed with a deposit
Cats are $100
Dogs are $300
There is a limit of 2 pets per household.

Tenant Selection Standards: Application processing includes checking current and/or previous landlord references, income verification, a credit check and criminal background check. Applications may not be approved for any of the following reasons:

• Previously evicted from rental housing with no improved rental status since eviction.
• Accounts in collection for past due rental housing, mortgage or utilities. (We do not deny applications for collections or derogatory accounts relating to student loans or medical accounts).
• Criminal history within the last 5 years – Involving crimes against people, property, gang or drug related. Felony charges for any of these types of crimes will never be admitted. Additionally, registered s*x offenders will never be admitted. Criminal background checks are completed on all residents in the household over the age of 18.
• Insufficient income – All applicants must demonstrate the ability to afford the rental housing. At the highest, 40% of an applicant’s monthly gross income must be sufficient to pay for rental housing. We do accept housing vouchers, SSI/Disability and regular child support as monthly income.

We also have three furnished apartments for short-term needs (more than 28 days, but less than 6 months). Please contact us directly regarding availability.
