Dolly was such a wonderful gift to Pigeon Forge, a spectacular entertainer for our Country, and an exceptional example of human being to the entire world. May she rest in peace in the arms of Jesus Christ and may His perpetual light shine upon her.

Pensacola’s Graffiti Bridge has always been a place where people leave a little piece of their heart, and this tribute to Dolly feels especially special. 🩷

Dolly felt like one of those people the whole world somehow knew…warm, funny, faithful, welcoming and full of love. In a way, she felt like a mother to us all. Her music will live on, but I think her kindness and the way she chose to love people will be just as much a part of her legacy.

One of my favorite reminders from her:
