Airbnb is quietly rolling out something pretty interesting for hosts. 👀

Some hosts are getting access to a new “direct booking link” inside their Listing Editor. The link can be shared on social media, through email, or anywhere else you market your property.

Here’s the part getting everyone’s attention: when a guest books through your link, Airbnb reduces the host service fee.

Screenshots from hosts show fees dropping from 15.5% to as low as 6%, although some hosts are reportedly seeing different reduced rates.

Hosts can also choose to pass some of those savings along to the guest as a discount.

Despite the name, this isn’t traditional direct booking. The reservation still happens on Airbnb, Airbnb processes the payment, and the booking still includes Airbnb services like AirCover for Hosts and customer support.

And one important detail: not everyone has access yet. Airbnb’s own messaging says some recipients are among the “first hosts” to receive the feature, so this appears to be an early rollout.

If you’re an Airbnb host, check your Listing Editor and see if the option has appeared in your account.
