Long before Gatlinburg became famous for its breakfast scene, Pancake Pantry took a leap of faith and opened a restaurant dedicated entirely to pancakes.
At the time, the idea of a pancake restaurant was unusual. More than 60 years later, it’s become a Gatlinburg tradition and a must-visit stop along the Parkway.
The menu features more than two dozen kinds of pancakes — from classic buttermilk to pecan and cornmeal — plus waffles, omelets, and hearty breakfast favorites.
If you smell pancakes drifting through downtown in the morning… there’s a good chance it’s coming from here. 🥞☕ See less

Standing at 120 feet tall, Mingo Falls is one of the tallest and most spectacular waterfalls in the Southern Appalachians. 💦⛰️ Located just outside Cherokee, this breathtaking waterfall is well worth the short hike to reach its base. https://brys.onl/MingoFalls
