The planning commission has approved our request for a Special Land Use permit for the Main Street commons. What does that mean? The project already conforms to the zoning and land use. However the current land use calls for a mix of residential and business (for example - a home with a daycare service). The land use also allows for multi family residential IF the planning commission approves it. Next step - getting our site plan approved for utilities, ingress/egress, density, zoning, drainage and architectural details. Main Street Commons of Pinckney is a proposed apartment project located in the Village Of Pinckney (Michigan) near many fine restaurants, medical offices, banks and shops. The Town Square is within walking distance and hosts many events throughout the year.
