We had a great turnout at the Nashville Chamber general membership meeting today! Thank you to everyone who came out and listened to my Real Estate 101 presentation. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share more about myself, Heartland Living, and how we can help our community.
**Who is Heartland Living?**
I’m Lexi Trojcak, owner and team lead of Heartland Living Real Estate Team. As a farmer’s wife, mother, and small-business owner, I care deeply about the people and communities we serve.
This is my 8th year as a licensed real estate agent, and I’m thankful for every client, relationship, and experience this career has brought me.
We’re powered by Keller Williams Pinnacle in O’Fallon, IL, with Washington County as our home base. Our team includes Lexi Trojcak, Lane Henderson, and soon Taylor Alvis, with administrative support helping keep everything organized from contract to closing.
**Our Market**
Washington County currently has **3.7 months of housing inventory**, **18 active single-family homes**, and an average of approximately **85 days on market in 2026**.
What does that mean? We have buyers looking for homes, but properties are not all moving at the same pace. Well-priced, well-prepared homes can attract attention, while overpriced or less-prepared properties may take longer to sell.
For sellers, understanding your home’s value and how it compares to the competition is important. For buyers, opportunities exist, but patience and preparation can make all the difference.

📱 A quick Zillow tip: Zillow may have a “Click here to call the listing agent” button, but that button can actually connect you with one of Zillow’s preferred agents—not necessarily the agent who listed the home. If you want to work with a specific agent, make sure you’re contacting them directly.
🤝 You can choose **any agent you want to work with**.
🔑 We may also be able to help with vacant or off-market properties, depending on the situation.
