🐻 VEHICLES - 2022 = 62 vehicles with bears again. Lock vehicles 24/7. Never leave your vehicle windows ‘cracked open’. Keep your vehicle windows up all the way. Vacuum & clean out your vehicles. Bears entered over 118+ unlocked vehicles in 2021.
🐻 HOMES ~ 54+ entries into homes, garages, crawlspaces or sheds have been made in 2022. 185+ homes, garages, crawlspaces or sheds were entered by bears in 2021. NO FOOD, NO TRASH, NO PETFOOD, ETC ever in any Garage, Shed or outside area.
✔️ Keep sliders, garage doors and windows under 7.5 feet supervised. That’s 7.5 feet - free and clear of tree access, deck and railing access. If you leave the immediate room, close any open window/door and lock it. It takes a bear less than 10 seconds to enter. Bear help 661 - 242 - 6988.
🐻 OUTSIDE FOOD - Bears have consumed food and trash left outside homes. This is against PMCPOA Wildlife Rules. No Trash is allowed Outside. You must supervise pet food if feeding a pet outside and bring any remaining pet food back inside a home.
NO BIRDFEEDING 🐦 April 1-November 1, 2022
April 1st is the date that all bird seed, nuts, suet and hummingbird feeders must be taken down from outside your homes. Association Rule 7.03(a) states: Feeding wild birds and squirrels is prohibited between April 1 and November 1 of any given year as a public safety effort to prevent property damage by bears and avoid human-bear interaction. The fines for these violations are expensive.

A reminder to take care of ordering POOL Access CARDS for MEMBERS asap, not days before you want to swim! If you lost your pool card last year or have never ordered Pool access cards, please call the PMCPOA Business office at 661-242-3788 ext. 225 to begin the process. 🏊♀️ Swimming Pool Access cards do not expire so if you had them last year, they are still good. 🏊♂️ There is a $100 fee to replace a LOST swimming pool access card.
