Buying a home doesn't always end at the closing table.

Even after an offer is accepted, there are a few hurdles that have to be cleared before the sale is final. Some of the most common reasons a contract falls through are:

✔️ The appraisal comes in lower than the purchase price.

✔️ The home inspection uncovers issues the buyer isn't comfortable taking on.

✔️ The buyer's financing changes or is no longer approved.

✔️ A title issue is discovered that needs to be resolved before the property can be sold.

The good news is that many of these situations can be worked through with the right team. A low appraisal doesn't always mean the deal is over, inspections often lead to negotiations instead of cancellations, and title issues can frequently be resolved before closing.

Every transaction has its own challenges, but having an experienced agent helping you navigate them can make all the difference.
