Taking a moment here to show love and support for my barber and long-time friend, Miguel. 💈
Crazy to think that i’ve been coming to you for the past SEVEN YEARS and yet we’ve never taken a photo together.
I question why we stay so loyal to our barbers. It makes sense though… it’s a judge-free zone where we can speak how we feel, we update each other on our lives every visit and our barbers give us that boost of confidence!!
My life could be in literal shambles, but i’ll feel like i’m on top of the world once I get that sharp haircut! 😂

Interest rates for your mortgage are always changing on a month-by-month basis. 🗓

It’s nearly impossible to predict whether your rate is going to rise or drop between the time you meet with your lender to the moment you’re about to close on that home. 🤝

Most lenders offer what’s called a ‘rate lock’ 🔒 — which allows the buyer to lock in their mortgage rate for a period of time (typically somewhere between 30 and 45 days) while the lender works to close your loan. This is a way for you as a homebuyer to manage your risk and control costs. ⚠️💰

The rate you’re quoted today is today’s rate. Tomorrow that number can be completely different — and the smallest percentage change in your interest rate can cost you thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars over the life of the loan. The higher the mortgage rate, the higher the monthly payments. 💸📈

A mortgage loan will be the largest financial transaction for most borrowers and interest rates are a huge factor. We may not have control over the market rates, but a rate lock can give the borrower control over their future costs and peace of mind. 😌💆🏻‍♀

I’m taking advantage of reading as much as possible so I can soak in bits of information that would save me time, push my business forward and help me learn new skills. 📈

- Writing Down Your Goals & To-Do Lists:
That feeling of accomplishment you get when crossing off each item one-by-one is motivating in and of itself!! 💪🏽⚡️
It’s easy to forget things so make it mandatory to write down these items the night before so that you’re ready to start the moment you step foot into the office. 💼👩🏼‍💼🧑‍💼
Same goes for your goals. Give yourself a constant reminder via notebook and/or phone to hit them at the end of every month. 🗓🎯
It’s easy to lose momentum during the week, but knowing that you’re getting your tasks completed and taking that one step closer to accomplishing your goals is what gets me up in the morning everyday!! 🌅

- Early Morning Meditation 🧘:

Mondays can be dreadful and I can only imagine the amount of emails we have waiting for us when we open our laptops. 📥😰
That’s why I try to get a quick meditation session in after my workouts. Here’s why. 🧎‍♀️
Meditation is a part of Yoga, where for 5/15/30 minutes your attention is focused on your thoughts and breathing. Let your mind wander, it’s NATURAL. The art of meditation is the art of DOING NOTHING. It’s kind of like hitting the restart button on your mind. 🧠
Those 30 minutes gives us the mental relaxation and concentration that we all need and DESERVE when starting our hectic weeks.
Try meditation every morning for 5 minutes and share your experiences with me 💆🏽🧘🏼‍♀️
