One of the things we wanted to do more of when we moved to Texas was explore. This past weekend we started that trend. Bought ourselves a new jeep (the boys are obsessed with Jeep’s), surprised the boys on Friday at school and then we took off on a whim to Austin. We had such a great time! We had some amazing food, got out on a hike, and we went to the coolest pool I’ve ever seen (Barton Springs Pool). It’s a natural limestone pool fed by surrounding springs, and it’s 1000 feet long. It’s so hard to describe but was the highlight of the trip, we were there for hours! Can’t wait to go back but we also are researching where to go next. If you are familiar with Texas and know some good spots hit me up!

Headed to the beach today with the intention of just grabbing some lunch and throwing the football around before the super bowl. We should have known better...of course the boys had to go in the freezing cold water. This is Winter on the Central Coast! 🌴 🌊

Well it’s happening...the Greens are moving to Texas! Definitely bittersweet leaving family and friends in CA but we know this is a good move for us and the boys at this point in time. We will miss our starter home in Vandenberg Village, but we are super excited for our new home just outside of Houston. Posted a couple of pics of the new digs will post more once we are all settled in.
