🌩️ Indiana weather is about to do Indiana weather things. 🌪️
With strong storms and high winds expected, here are a few quick things you can do to protect your home and family:
✔️ Bring in patio furniture, umbrellas, flags, and anything lightweight.
✔️ Move vehicles into the garage if possible.
✔️ Charge phones and portable battery packs.
✔️ Locate flashlights and fresh batteries now, not when the power goes out.
✔️ Make sure gutters and drains are clear so heavy rain can flow away from your home.
✔️ Trim or secure loose branches if you can do so safely.
✔️ Know where to go if a tornado warning is issued. Basements are best. If you don't have one, choose an interior room on the lowest level away from windows.
✔️ Check on elderly neighbors and make sure pets have a safe place too.
A few minutes of preparation can save a lot of headaches later.
This is not a sales post.... if the storms leave behind any damage and you need recommendations for local contractors, roofers, electricians, or restoration companies, feel free to reach out. We're happy to help.
Stay safe, friends! 💙🧡
