Ahhh… the joy (and ease) of online house hunting. These days you can just grab a glass of vino and head on over to your sofa to endlessly tour any and every property on your list of dream homes.

But… next time you are "wandering" the halls of the newly listed home in your neighborhood, remember these things:

📷 Sometimes photos are digitally staged. Dark rooms are made to look bright, cabinetry color can be changed and vacant homes can be filled with "furniture".

💲The home valuations some sites offer are not always accurate. If a home is listed for one price but the online estimate of value is higher, it doesn't always indicate you are getting the deal of the century. We ALWAYS run comps for our clients before we put an offer on a home to compare the value of the home you want to buy with similar properties in the neighborhood.

💻 Real estate websites often don't tell the whole story of a home. We have access to the MLS which often provides insider info that the listing agent provides that isn't visible to the public.
