This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we have today. 🇺🇸

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we take a moment to honor and remember those who never made it home.

Wishing you a peaceful, safe, and meaningful Memorial Day. ❤️🤍💙

As your out-of-town friends enjoy everything our beautiful city has to offer, don’t forget to connect them with a realtor you trust! I’m here to help them land their number one pick.

There’s a moment that happens to almost everyone the first time they arrive in Pittsburgh.

It’s not at the airport. It’s not when you check into your hotel. It’s when you come through the tunnel… and the city just appears.

Steel and glass. Bridges stretching like open arms. A skyline that doesn’t just sit there; it greets you.

And today, as the NFL Draft comes to town, that moment belongs to you.

Welcome.

You’ll notice pretty quickly that Pittsburgh isn’t like most cities. It doesn’t try too hard. It doesn’t need to. It’s built on something deeper than that—history, grit, pride, and people who genuinely care.

Look around and you’ll see what we mean. More than 90 neighborhoods, each one with its own rhythm, its own story, its own flavor. One block might feel like old Europe, another like a tight-knit corner where everybody still knows your name. There’s no “one” Pittsburgh. There are many. And that’s what makes it whole.

But if there’s one thing that ties it all together, it’s the people.

Around here, if you look a little lost, someone will notice. If you ask for directions, you won’t just get an answer. You’ll get a conversation. Maybe even a story. Maybe even a new friend.

That’s just how we are.

We’re a city that was built on hard work and long days, but also on front porches, shared meals, and looking out for one another. It stays with you. Even now.

So whether you’re here for the picks, the players, or just the experience, please take a little time to take us in too.

Walk the bridges. Stand by the rivers. Find a neighborhood that feels like it was waiting just for you.

And when it’s time to leave, don’t be surprised if a part of you doesn’t want to.

Because Pittsburgh has a way of doing that.

From all of us, welcome to our city.

Jamie has had home ownership in sight for quite sometime now. She and I started the journey a few years back, but after many tours she just couldn't find anything that felt quite like home. Determined we pushed through and continued the search. Brings me great joy to say she and her family are now ready to kick the landlord to the curb! She has officially closed on her very own place. Congrats Jamie!

That’s a wrap! Just days after hitting the market, my client accepted an offer at listing price! Keys have been handed over, and he’s off to start his next chapter in life.

Both parties wanted a quick sale, and thanks to a great team effort, we went from listed to closed in just over 30 days.

If you—or someone you know—are thinking about buying or selling, I’d love to help. Even if you just have questions, feel free to reach out!

According to CNBC Make It, in 2019, three Pennsylvania entrepreneurs—Jesse Wig, Adam Colucci, and Dan Spanovich—purchased an abandoned high school in Homestead, Pennsylvania, for $100,000.

Recognizing its potential, they invested approximately $3.3 million to transform the 50,000-square-foot building into Bowtie High, a 31-unit luxury apartment complex. The renovation preserved historical elements, such as the auditorium, now a community space, and the gymnasium, which features a half-basketball court equipped with Peloton bikes.

The project reached full occupancy within six months of leasing in October 2021, generating over $500,000 in annual rental income. Encouraged by this success, the trio has acquired additional schools for similar redevelopment projects.

Home ownership is more achievable in Pittsburgh than almost anywhere else. Knowing this, what’s holding you back?

Pittsburgh is one of only two cities in the U.S. where it's cheaper to buy a home than rent, economists with Realtor.com say.
