Okay, friends, let's talk about one of my favorite topics: saving money on your dream home! 🙌

It's no secret that negotiating the best deal can make all the difference in your home buying journey, and I'm excited to share some insider tips with you today. From timing your negotiations just right to getting creative with your offers, these are the tips that I've used to help my clients save thousands.

Tip 1 - Focus on what matters When negotiating, don't get bogged down by small details that won't make a significant impact on the overall price. Instead, focus on the key issues that will make the most significant difference to your bottom line.

Tip 2 - Timing is everything Negotiating at the right time can make all the difference. For example, if a property has been on the market for a while, the seller may be more willing to accept a lower offer. Or, if you're competing with other buyers, making a quick and compelling offer can help you stand out.

Tip 3 - Get creative with your offers Sometimes, offering something besides a higher price can give you the edge you need. For example, if the seller is motivated to close quickly, you can offer a shorter closing period in exchange for a lower price.

Shop around and compare rates and services from multiple insurance and service providers to ensure you're getting the best deal possible. Consider bundling services, such as home and auto insurance, for additional discounts.

TIP #2 - Conduct Energy-Efficient Upgrades

After spending several years living in Tennessee, Josh and Loralee decided to make the move back to Pennsylvania. With the help of modern technology, we were able to conduct virtual house tours and find the perfect home for them in the charming town of Blairsville.

Last week we talked about four ways sellers can leverage low inventory to sell for max profit.

But what about buyers? What are buyers supposed to do if they want to buy— and there just aren’t many homes to choose from?

2) Act fast! When you find a home you love, don't wait to make an offer – it could be gone in the blink of an eye.
