Some people say open houses are a waste of time. This house was on the market quite a while and open houses were done around twice a month, except for a short break over the holidays. The new occupant found this gem at one of our open house opportunities not long ago. The seller did an amazing job of getting the house ready for a relatively quick closing. I was happey to help get them through the process. Kathy and I look at various ways effectively market a property. There is no cookie cutter approach for us.

So, we have two repeat clients; one was looking for something smaller and one was looking for something larger. For the first time we had two clients that wanted each others' house. It was an exercise in project management and was similar to juggling cotton balls in a hurricane at times as we planned to close on the same day, one right after the other. We closed on both yesterday - happy seller and happy buyer times two!

SOLD! The seller was out of state and the home was vacant - to this team, it meant a bit of extra effort to get the job done. As timing would have it, I found myself on a one-man working party to get fall leaves to the curb for pick up. With a large lot and many trees, this absorbed much of my time, but I didn't want to bother the seller with the minor details. To my Marine pals, I am now qualified with a Craftsman leaf blower.
