There are so many ways to volunteer at Angel Ridge and Hannah, one of our longest volunteers, loves getting involved in any way she can. Read below about what she does and please consider joining our team!
“As an avid volunteer since 2007, Angel Ridge Animal Rescue has a deep-rooted investment in my heart. I started as a dog walker and shortly started fostering giant breed and special needs dogs. Over the years I have taken on the roles of assisting with adoptions, managing offsite and online fundraiser efforts, overseeing social media platforms, collecting community donations banks, and much more.
What I find most rewarding about volunteering is the love that we can give to the homeless animals who may have never felt something like that in their lifetime. Many of the dogs that we receive come from broken backgrounds. Through the volunteers at Angel Ridge, they can slowly learn to trust again. Seeing them find a happy and loving home is truly gratifying.
I welcome every opportunity to talk about Angel Ridge and encourage more people to get involved with animal rescue – whether it be volunteering, donating, adopting, or simply spreading the word.”
