This month, we were so glad to host Barrel and Flow Fest at The Stacks at 3 Crossings for the third year in a row! It was a great way to celebrate, embrace, and uplift Black artists, musicians, chefs, and brewers from around the country — right here in Pittsburgh, PA.

This is another way we're building community and creating spaces where people can come together to celebrate everything that makes our communities special.

Employee Spotlight: Byron Davenport, General Manager, Parking Operations.

Byron has been with Oxford for over 30 years, holding a number of operations leadership roles throughout his career since joining the company in 1994.

Now, he’s responsible for the overall management, customer experience, and financial performance of all parking facilities owned or operated by Oxford.

Byron first joined Oxford as an Operations Manager and was later promoted to General Manager for Fifth Avenue Place and Penn Avenue Place. In this role, he was responsible for the full scope of building operations for two of downtown Pittsburgh’s major office assets, overseeing day-to-day property management functions, tenant services, and facility operations in a high-rise, multi-tenant environment.

Byron attended Temple University and holds the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.

We’re so glad that Byron is part of the Oxford team, grateful for his commitment to our work building communities, and honored to spotlight him!

Last week, we hosted the kickoff party for Riverlife’s “Party at the Pier," their signature summer celebration next Friday, August 28th. We're proud that our Boad Chair, Anne Lewis, is the Co-Chair of this year's "Midnight Metamorphosis" themed party. The event will support Riverlife's mission to create, activate, and celebrate Pittsburgh’s riverfronts.

Sometimes you've gotta set aside your pride and take one for the team – especially when it's for a good cause.

Thanks to the CEOs from across our region for getting SOAKED last month to benefit The ALS Association and their work to fight this terrible disease.

Together, we raised $20,000 to make ALS livable and find a cure. And we were so proud to once again host the life-saving (and hilarious) ALS CEO Soak at The Stacks at 3 Crossings.

On this day in 1972, we celebrated the grand opening of the Grand Central Mall near Parkersburg, West Virginia. At the time, it was the only enclosed mall within 70 miles, and the largest mall in the Mountain State — boasting 41 stores, and even a garden with a duck pond and waterfall.
